INTRODUCTION

Hello and welcome to my MCO 425 blog! My name is Eleana Ramirez. I am currently in my senior year at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at ASU. I lived in Arizona as an on-campus student for the first 2 years of my education, then I switched to the online program to give myself some more flexibility to travel for work opportunities. Now I reside in the beautiful city of San Fransisco, California while I work towards achieving my Digital Audiences degree.

Fun fact: I grew up with a Doberman named Kaiser. He passed away a few years ago at age 14, so I incorporated him into my brand because he was such a significant part of my life.

I initially signed up for this class to satisfy a major requirement. After reading through the course concepts and objectives, I was able to see how important this class is for the particular career field I intend to pursue. After graduation, I intend to operate my own company as a digital entrepreneur, so understanding and mastering the aspects of digital literacy will be very useful for the future as the digital world continues to increase in terms of significance. Many people call me a huge computer nerd and they are not wrong! I am always glued to my computer creating something.
